Augmenting the College's official records are a variety of manuscript collections including student letters and diaries, faculty correspondence and lecture notes, records of student clubs and societies, papers of noted alumni, and documents relating to the Williams family and the founding of the College. The research guide to a manuscript collection generally contains a description of the collection's research strengths, details regarding its organization, and a listing of its contents.
