Series List

Series II, Albert Hopkins Papers, 1820-1872 , is subdivided into two categories, Correspondence and College Papers.

Correspondence is predominately to members of his family and largely dates from the 1820's and early 1830's. It contains many accounts of his scientific experiments.

College Papers include a draft of a book on Astronomy, notes and a clipping on a solar eclipse, a blueprint for a cabinet of natural history by Ebenezer Emmons (1834), and other papers.

Writings consist of a series of "Scenery of Northern Berkshire" columns written for the 'Adams Transcript"  c1868-1872
