Petition to the General Court of Massachusetts from the Trustees of the Free School, May 23,1792

To the Honourable the Senate and House of Representatives of the Common- wealth of Massachusetts in General Court assembled, Humbly shew, the subscribers, Trustees of the donation of Ephraim Williams Esquire, for maintaining a Free School in Williamstown, that, partly out of the sd Donation, partly by private subscriptions, and partly f rom the aid of a Lottery, they have erected a large and convenient brick building within the said town of Williamstown, with lodging and study rooms sufficient to accommodate one hundred students, besides a common School-room sufficient for sixty scholars,
