Provenance: Previous to their transfer to the Archives, in 1989, the records of the Secretary of the Board of Trustees were housed in, and moved among, a number of different locations. The records were intellectually accessed through an inventory produced by the office of the Vice President for Administration/Treasurer. (See the Accession File for this original listing.) Once in the Archives, the records were organized, pulling together like sections of material into unified series.
Restrictions: Individuals not belonging to the office of origin are restricted from investigating portions of this collection. Meeting files are closed to general research use for 50 years following the date of the meeting. Trustee and faculty/staff files are restricted for 75 following the last year of service of an individual to the College or until the death of that employee.
